• Apply a moisturizer with sunscreen to keep skin hydrated and protected
• Look for a gentle cleanser that’s free of harsh ingredients
• Cleanse twice daily; once in the morning and once at night
• Use lukewarm water rather than hot water to avoid drying out your skin
• Stop using harsh exfoliants, they can irritate the skin
• Apply a moisturizer with SPF after you cleanse your face
• Choose a moisturizer designed for melanin-rich skin with natural ingredients
• Keep your body hydrated by drinking plenty of water and using a body lotion
• Eat real, unprocessed foods whenever possible
