Rosewater Facial Mist for Beautiful Black Skin

Facial mists are often used to refresh, soothe and deliver a variety of benefits to your skin.

So whether you’re looking for something to use as a primer, pre-makeup or something to use to hydrate your skin or as a “pick-me-up” during the day, facial mists are being used to serve the purpose for just those things.

Mist can also be used as toners to your skin to help prepare your skin before you apply a serum or moisturizer and they can also help to set your makeup.

So when you consider a facial mists, you want to look at what purpose they will serve when it comes to enhancing the beauty of your African American Skin. When we take a look at what a mist can do, they deliver light weight hydration for dry skin or skin that’s maturing, they also can act as a humectants which is adding the natural moisture to your skin.

Enhancing Your Mist With Essential Oils

Lavender – When you’re looking at face mists, they also minimize pores and they can enhance the glow to your skin. By adding Lavender essential oils to distilled or filtered water, this simple concoction has been known to enhance the beauty of your skin and definitely to help soothe and ease sunburn.

Lavender also has the ability to reduce stress and anxiety. It calms and soothes and when you apply it to your skin, it has been said to do everything from promoting blood circulation, disinfect cuts, and reduce the appearance of scars. It’s been known to treat acne as well as help to mend or heal skin irritations.

Rose and Geranium – If you’re looking to combat dryness that’s gotten to you when you travel, rose and geranium are very good oils to add to filtered or purified water, and it will help to bring your skin back to that hydrated glow after a long flight. This too can double as a toner or makeup setting mist.

Rosewater is a lot of what’s used on the market. Whether you’re looking to use it to spray your face, to set your makeup or as a midday pick me up, rosewater can often do all three and it definitely acts as a great toner for your skin which brings your skin’s ph balance into play. Rosewater can often deliver a refreshing dose of hydration to your skin throughout the day.

Essential Oil Blends – When you look at certain blends of essential oils to use as a mist for your face, you can look for oils like Sandalwood and Neroli which is from the orange family.  You can look for Immortelle also known as Helichrysum, and these act as floral distillates that can balance, tone and repair your skin while often delivering an aroma-therapeutic perk.

When you take your floral waters so to speak, and use those waters to act as a perk me up during the day and any time you feel that your skin is sluggish or over heated, it’s a great way to add moisture in and hydrate your skin on the spot.

So these are just a few of the types of mists you can use when it comes to taking care of your skin. During warm weather temperatures, you will use them more often. It’s cooling to your skin. However, don’t negate your skin as your move into the cooler temperatures. Often cooler temperatures can be drying to your skin, especially when you turn on the heat and that dry heat comes up in your living and working space.

Your skin is always seeking moisture. Given the right kind of moisture , your skin will experience a beautiful glow on a daily basis.

That’s it for this week. As Always …
