Vitamin D has strong moisturizing properties and encourages tissue development. In addition to the sun , Vitamin D is found in egg yolks, salmon, sunflower seeds and oils.

Zinc – Because zinc can help reduce the amount of sebum (natural oil) your skin produces, some research has found that those with acne have a lower intake of zinc in their diet than those without acne. Zinc can be found if foods such as pumpkin seeds and lamb.

Selenium is a powerful antioxidant. This mineral along with others can be heavily dependent on the quality of the soil that the food is grown in. Did you know that just 2-3 Brazil nuts will give you your daily intake value of selenium?

These are just a few tips on how vitamins and minerals are here to help you. If you’ll just focus on the foods you eat and get rest, you’ll see a tremendous improvement in your stress level and the beauty of your skin.
