How to Minimize Dull, Dry, Ashy and Gray Skin

Dull, dry, ashy and gray skin?  What’s causing you to have it? Ashy, dry skin is caused by a lack of moisture. The moisture you lack is oil. This could lead back to your family tree as to why your skin lacks a certain amount of oil.

On the other hand, could your lack luster skin be dehydrated? Dehydrated skin is a condition whereas you lack water.

Using Topical Products to Rid Yourself of Dull, Dry, Ashy and Gray Skin

Serums are a great way to help your skin with these challenges. They are built to nourish and nurture your skin, going deep into its layers. With added ingredients like hyaluronic acid, your skin find its glow again.

Believe it or not, CBD is growing its presence in topical products for dull, dry, ashy and gray skin. When you see the term lackluster, it’s just another way of describing dull, dry ashy gray skin.

CBD in combination with essential oils, fatty acids and vitamins help nourish, hydrate, calm and regenerate your skin.

As much as we don’t want to look at lifestyle and eating habits, they play a vital role in the health and beauty of our skin. We turn to tropical products to help relieve some of the challenges we see. While they offer some relief, they don’t always bring results to the challenge. Why is this so?

Could it be that we have to take a deeper dive and go internal? Believe it or not, when skin and hair challenges pop up, it means that something is going on internally.

Therefore, your dull, dry, ashy and gray skin could be from what’s going on within?

Going Within to Minimize Dull, Dry, Ashy and Gray Skin

Are you caring for your skin from within? It only takes putting together healthy meals and consuming half your body’s weight in water. Easier said than done. Suppose you don’t feel like prepping a healthy meal or drinking half your body’s weight in water. What happens then?

I could make a blanket statement answer and say, your skin will stay as it is. That’s not always the case.

It has surprised me over the years how the skin acts under certain conditions. Some of you under extreme stress, don’t eat but you’ll drink lots of water. In essence, stress has put you into a mini-fast, so to speak. Your body is cleansing with out you even trying.

Other’s of you are forced onto a special eating regimen to better your health and your body responds by giving you great looking skin. Bottom line, it boils down to what you don’t or do put into your body, that produces great looking skin.

What to Eat to Minimize Dull, Dry, Ashy and Gray Skin

When you do take in foods to address your skin challenges, certain ones should be on your list.

Fill your fridge with tomatoes, green leafy vegetables, such as spinach, kale and collards. Walnuts and almonds make great additives to salads along with blueberries and strawberries. Salmon and tuna are excellent sources of protein. Have you ever made or had a Southwest Salmon Burger?

They’re great grilled with a kale or spinach salad on the side. Want to take it even further? The next time you have a taste for pizza, make your own. Instead of chicken or beef, add the southwest salmon burger as your meat topping. It will bring a smile to your face.

Solving your skin care challenges takes a wholistic approach. Nurturing and nourishing your skin from within and without will give you your best results.

That’s it for this week. as always …
