We take a look at what wellness actually means and how you can incorporate it into your life.
We know that it’s a buzz word that’s used in the industry, and the approach can actually help with the condition of your skin.
Wellness is how we at Nyraju Skin Care work with skin, but we use the term “taking a holistic approach to great skin care”.
A few of the ways we encourage this holistic approach is:
Slow your pace. I recently injured myself in the same place twice and I think this is the universe’s way of telling me that I need to slow down. Sometimes we get scattered in trying to get things done in life that it causes us to just be moving in motion and we should be taking a step back and thinking and meditating. We don’t do that.
When we don’t do those things, the creator has a way of slowing us down so we’re forced to. When realize that you cannot move as fast as you could the day before, you learn to appreciate the fact that you do have mobility. You’re now able to take a step back and breathe through the quiet time.
Because we believe in the holistic approach to skin and healing, this brings something else into your lifestyle change and that’s herbs and oils which we use in our hair and skin products.
Essential oils make great remedies for black hair and skin care. They nourish and replenish your roots and soften and nourish your skin.
Do Herbal Blends and Recipes Actually Work?
When you have the right formula, it’s amazing what herbology and science will do. My family and I have been fortunate enough to know some holistic specialists who recommended an herbal blend that has helped us tremendously whenever we encounter injuries such as the recent one I sustained (foot injury). Using these herbal blends, I have regained mobility and I can move my foot and it’s all due to the power of the holistic and herbal approach.
So when you see your friends or family using the herbal approach for such situations, don’t be afraid of it, embrace it.
There’s Nothing like a Getaway for Wellness
We also encourage you to approach a lifestyle change and care for yourself by taking a “breakation”. Take a break, get away even if it means checking into a hotel every 3 months, shutting your phone off and letting that become your space of meditation. Create your own private spa for the weekend and you’ll come out of that space a completely different person.
If you get away to the beach or an island, that’s even better. Of course with a lifestyle change, nutrition is crucial. It is first and foremost the best way to observe your body as it works through its changes and the healing process as such.
Immerse yourself into a holistic and wellness state of mind. You’ll be surprised at what your skin and hair will look like.
