beautiful black skin

You are what you eat! Your body weight and your youthful glowing skin and how many times have we heard this? Most of our lives probably but do we accept this as being a true statement.  I was talking with my herbalist the other day and discussing the increase in escema in young children.  We all know that what ever mom eats when carrying the baby, the fetus will become the sum total of her food intake.

Well, guess what mom.  If you’re taking in a lot of dairy, sugar and/or white bread while carrying your precious babe and continue to do so as you breast feed, your baby’s system is being developed and structured on yeast.

How do I know about food and healthy black skin?  I live it on a daily basis.  We were away on a business trip and hubby brought pastry into our hotel room.  I’m thinking, Ohhh, a little bite won’t hurt.  Well, I was wrong.  I stopped eating sugar and bread a few months back and not 24 hours later, my face was popping with bumps.

I damn near looked like I was auditioning for a horror movie roll, OK, not quite but you get the point.  Here is what I know for sure, when I eat my green vegetables and a little fruit and drink my water, I feel and look wonderful.  My skin glows and I have enormous energy.

So, what has your skin told you lately?  Let me know and tell me how you worked your way through it.

To Your Beauty,
