Do the ingredients in this product seem safe enough not to cause an acne flare-up?

Prevention and Natural Solutions is Key.

Whether it be hormones, medicine, stress-induced, or due to your diet, the most important element of treating breakouts in teens and adult acne is to prevent it. In order to properly prevent it, we must first do our best to locate the source of acne triggers. Many people have found success by journaling their activities and breakouts and taking notes of the commonalities that occur right before the breakout happens.

Others have found that over-the-counter products aren’t agreeable with their skin, and natural solutions are better suited to their needs and sensitivities. Using raw honey for combination skin is a perfect example of this.
Over-the-counter solutions are many, but are more likely to cause irritation. Terms you will commonly see are benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, and chemical peels. When it comes to dermatologists, antibiotics are another frequently prescribed method.

While antibiotics will clear acne for some, there can be another unfortunate side-effect, which is antibiotic resistance. Once the body becomes resistant to antibiotics, they fail to work properly to protect us against skin issues and illnesses.

Not only are natural solutions reigning as the safest and effective way to go, their benefits are long-term, and they can repair hyperpigmentation as they work to stop breakouts and clear skin.


Nutrition and the Role it Plays in Treating Acne. 


Those yummy desserts and fried food may taste good, but they could also be having a negative effect on your skin. It’s no coincidence that so many doctors and medical experts say that our internal health shows on the outside.  This means a lifestyle change might be in order.

Cutting out sugary sodas and drinking more water can help to rejuvenate you from the inside out. We know it isn’t always easy to change your eating habits, but starting off with this step can cause a noticeable difference that will most likely inspire you to keep going and take your health more seriously if you want beautiful skin and increased energy.

Few things can compare to looking as good as you feel. When we eat better, we feel better and we look better. By paying attention to what you put into your body and on your skin, you’ll be well on your way to skin you can be proud of.
