A Black Skin Care System, do you have one in place?

What is a System?  It’s technically  a Noun defined as:
1.    A set of connected things or parts forming a complex whole, in particular.
2.    A set of things working together as parts of a mechanism or an interconnecting network.

Does this definition apply to great skin care for black skin?  It certainly does!! Parts forming a complex whole or interconnecting networks are all part of a great skin care system for black skin.

What parts of a system or interconnecting products networking together are you using  for your beautiful black skin?

A good black skin care system will consist of products that will help you maintain a youthful and radiant glow to your skin and treat conditions, such as dry skin, oily skin and acne.  A cleanser and toner will set the foundation for your black skin care system.

A cleanser will remove dirt and debris from your skin.  I’ve formulated our  line using Green Tea.  Green Tea fights sun damage and kills bacteria that  destroys your skin.

Not only will our Green Tea Facial Cleanser remove the dirt and debris from your skin, it is enhanced with vitamins, great for any skin type and is ideal for giving you ageless and flawless looking skin.

Toners are great hydrators for your skin.  They serve to balance the pH levels of your skin, giving it a fresh and clean glow.

Part of the skin care system that we offer is a Rosewater Toner.  I’ve formulated it to include Aloe Vera leaf juice.   Not only does Aloe Vera juice contain seven of the eight essential amino acids, it also provides nine of the essential minerals that rejuvenate and revitalize your skin as a woman of color.

Scented with rose essential oil, it  provides a mild and relaxing scent and nurtures and soothes your skin.

What products do you use after you’ve set up your foundation with the cleanser and toner?

That’s going to depend on the skin challenge.  If you’re challenged with acne, you’ll want to choose a product that will contain Vitamin C or Vitamin C Ester.  One of the causes of acne is inflammation.  Vitamin C ester is said to reduce inflammation.

Using Vitamin C along with green tea and gotu kola is known to help prevent post-breakout marks and immediately work to reduce the appearance of redness.

If you’re challenged with dryness or maturing black skin, you’ll want to use a product that is packed full of antioxidants that will nourish your skin giving it the texture of silk. Wow, the texture of silk … soft, smooth subtle to touch … what an experience.

Wheat germ, Aloe Vera, Rose hip and Avocado are all ingredients that will nourish, hydrate and sooth your skin and give it the texture of silk.

If it’s dark spots, skin discoloration, uneven skin tone or hyper-pigmentation that’s got you going “woe is me”, you can address this challenge naturally.

Products that contain bilberry extract, arbutin and/or lactic acid from maple sugar, have been clinically proven to help in giving your skin an even skinned glow.

The bottom line …

Having a great skin care system in place will make life much easier when it comes to caring for your beautiful black skin.
