Black Skin Care - African American Skin Care Products

If you have African American skin, care may include treating trouble spots – whether they be oily or dry. You’ll want to adopt a black skin care routine that keeps all of your skin healthy and smooth. Various moisturizers will be suitable for different areas of your skin, depending on the skin issues found in each area.

You may have certain areas of oily skin, since African American skin has larger sebaceous glands than do Asians or Caucasians. This can mean you will have more areas with an oily appearance. The first way to help treat oily skin is to drink plenty of water. This helps hydrate your whole body, and makes caring for black skin less of a chore, since it will be more attractive and healthy from within.

While you clean your skin, use a cleanser that is a non-soap product. Check out NYRAJU’s Black Skin Care Product Line for cleansers specially formulated for black skin.  Soap can cause your skin to become irritated and dry. Hot water will dry out the skin too, and even though dry would seem to mean less oily, it doesn’t – it just means non-hydrated. Use warm water to hydrate your skin. After you wash, exfoliate with a mild black skin care product and pat your skin dry with a towel. Use NYRAJU’s Rosewater Toner and a lightweight, easily absorbed moisturizer like NYRAJU’s Antioxidant Face Cream.

For areas of dry skin, you will need to target them with good moisturizing habits. They will help to restore your skin’s healthy glow. Drink plenty of water to re-hydrate the dry skin, and cleanse with NYRAJU’s Green Tea Facial Cleanser – perfect for combination skin.  This cleanser provides extra healing for black skin, and protects it against the harsh effects of the environment. Select an exfoliant such as NYRAJU’s Jojoba Facial Scrub that has smaller granules, to remove your dry skin cells, and use NYRAJU’s Rosewater Toner – specially formulated for caring for black skin.

You can add other products to your black skin care routine, too.  Use NYRAJU’s Vitamin C and Green Clay Masque specially formulated for your skin to be used twice per week to help keep your black skin balanced and supply.  Great for oily skin.   Masks refresh and soothe your skin, and restore a good balance of moisture to even out dry, fine lines. Healthy skin will give you a pleasant glow. If you care for your black skin now, you’ll be glad that you did.
