Can You Bridge The Gap Between Beauty and Style?

Naomi Sims certainly showed us how it was done, and with class I might add! Call me old fashioned or retro, but I liked it when Beauty and Style were Elegant and Sophisticated.

Ladies, I think we’ve given up a lot of the Mystique when dressing our fine brown frames.

And what do beauty and your beautiful black skin care regimen have to do with style? Well in essence it has everything to do with it.  Why? Because, if your skin is not at the point where you feel it represents you as your mirror to the world, you’re going to have challenges.

Your carriage of how you move your body is going to be different, you’re not going to stroll or glide with confidence.   Psychologically you take on the attitude of “It doesn’t matter what I look like because my face is jacked up and I really don’t want anybody to be looking at me anyway”.

Your wardrobe will either take on a very drab or muted appearance.  But guess what, you’re still bringing attention to yourself.

It’s part of the psychological effect when your skin, in particular, doesn’t really mirror what you want to project to the world.   Neither will your wardrobe or your hairstyle.

Do You Have A Flawless Complexion?

Flawless, typically means no scars, no marks or discoloration.  But this image of your skin usually leaves by the time you’re a few months old.

But you do want to have your skin at a point where it is supple, glowing and healthy looking. That within it self, will give you confidence in how you move forward and project your whole physical energy.

So when you’re taking a look at beauty and style, Beauty extends into the wardrobe of cosmetics.

When you have a complexion that is exhibiting this outward appearance of a healthy luscious glow, when you add makeup, you can use something as simple as a bronzer, blush, mascara and shadow.  Guess What! That will be enough.

The healthier your skin, the less make up you’ll want to apply to it.  Why? Because, you’re going to want to project your flawless beauty and radiant complexion to the world.

You’ll want people to see what you’ve worked so hard to accomplish and when you project your beauty, the colors that you choose, not only in your mascara, lipstick or blush, but the colors that you choose in your apparel as well, are going to enhance that head to toe image of your radiant glow.

Confidence!!   That’s right.  Now you become like a force of energy that’s moving forward in style. So … when your skin is in tiptop shape, so is your complete image.

It’s all the same Beauty package!
