black skin body scrubIt’s official! For most of you anyway, it’s cold outside. What will your beautiful black skin need to keep it soft and smooth during the colder months? A Great moisturizer and a complete body scrub will do the trick.

The warm days of summer are long gone and before you know it, Summer will be here again. In the meantime, how do you get through the cold months with the same soft skin you managed to acquire during the summer months?

Exfoliate With Body Butter Scrubs

You get yourself a nice body butter scrub and treat your skin to exfoliation treatments at least twice a month. The dry heat and cold air of winter can wreak havoc on your skin. So whether it’s your face or your entire body, you will need to exfoliate. There’s nothing like the silky, soft, smooth feeling your get on your skin after an exfoliation treatment.

The dead skin cells that build up on its surface cause your skin to look dull, ashy and gray. It’s been known to be so bad, that it will actually look like dandruff when you pull your stockings or pants off. Once you’ve got that under control, it’s time to move on to the next step.

Moisturize With Body Butters

There’s nothing like a creamy body butter that glides all over your beautiful black skin. They work best when you apply them right after a shower or bath. Your skin is damp and moist and ready to absorb the nutrients found in your body butter.

The best body butters will have at least one of the following ingredients: Shea butter, cocoa butter or mango butter. If you find a product that has a combination of all three, that’s even better.

One thing to keep in mind, it’s not always a good idea to use the same moisturizer on your face that you use on your body. Typically they are formulated differently and the body moisturizer will be too heavy for your face.

To exfoliate and moisturize your skin is a necessity any time of the year, however, the winter season is definitely the time when your skin will need all the extra tender loving care you can give it.

So, If the weather outside is frightful, keep your skin soft, smooth and delightful with products that will exfoliate and moisturize it throughout the colder months.

That’s it for this week, as always,

Dedicated To Your Beauty,
