What causes under eye puffiness and dark circles?
We look to topical products to cure or relieve symptoms. Topical products are great for aiding in the relief of certain symptoms but they are not the cure all for many.
When you talk about under eye puffiness and dark circles most of you look for a cream, a gel, a peptide or some type of ointment that will instantly remove what is seen.
When caring for black skin, it’s important for you to be patient in your quest for flawless skin. If your product choice or treatment is not conducive to caring for black skin, you’re in trouble.
Eye Puffiness
Did you know that bags/puffiness often appear when you don’t get adequate rest? When you get your rest and you still have the challenge of puffiness under your eyes, there could be the possibility of you needing to flush your kidneys.
That also means no coffee, not tea, not soda or artificially colored drinks. You know the ones that come in those colors that have your tongue blue, red or green.
Dark Circles Under Your Eyes
Once again getting your rest is important but this may also be an indication of needing your liver flushed. Did you know that dark circles could also be a sign of a wheat or dairy allergy?
Eating a lot of fiber and avoiding unnecessary chemicals will also help with detoxing.
Now in all of this, the eye puffiness and dark circles, nutrition and rest play an extremely important role in eliminating these challenges.
Rest, not only a state when your body is relaxed but so is your mind. Your beautiful black skin regenerates itself every night that you lay down to rest but when you are stressed, your skin is challenged. Not only does stress affect your skin but it affects your internal organs as well.
Nutrition plays the role of how your body and skin are fed. Stress alters a great nutrition plan by triggering eating habits that aren’t always good for your body. It would be different if you ate fresh fruits and veggies when you got stressed but it takes a great deal of discipline to do that.
A lot of you eat foods like chips and candy or drink sodas and fruit juices when stressed. This high influx of sugar begins to tax your organs and the result of how it affects your body shows up as dark circles with liver challenges and puffiness under your eyes when your kidneys are challenged.
Think about how great you feel when you drink a cup of Senna tea. Most of you feel like you can float. Imagine how you’d feel after a liver and kidney detox/cleanse.
Water is never to be out of the equation of internal cleansing. Water can act as your daily cleanser. By starting your day off with a glass of water that’s room temperature, you trigger the elimination process through your colon. Try it!
If you’re not ‘heavily’ impacted, you’ll be eliminating waste from your system before you can get your shower. Some of you are not challenged with elimination but for those who are, it’s a great way to kick start cleansing your colon.
Is all of this important when it comes to removing dark circles and puffiness under your eyes? Yes, it is. For some it’s hereditary for others its both hereditary and internal challenges.
If you take a holistic approach to caring for your skin, you will benefit from topical and internal products that will beautify your skin and give it a flawless appearance.
