Black Skin Care Tip – How To Take care of your feet!

When you think about Black Skin Care Tips, it’s not just about your face.  Your entire body, from your head to your toe, needs tender loving care.  Your feet are just as important as your face. They take all of your abuse on a daily basis, tight shoes, 6 inch heels and no support to cushion the balls of your feet.

So now, it’s hot outside, you’ve got on your pretty sandals and your feet are jacked up to the Nth degree.  No worries!  There’s still time to get them all prettied up for the rest of the season.

Black skin care tip – A warm Foot Bath

There’s nothing a warm foot bath won’t or can’t fix, well maybe but we can deal with that next time.   So let’s begin with just that,  a warm bath for your feet.

You know what it feels like to immerse your body into a warm bath filled with oils and herbs.  Well your feet deserve that same special attention.  Imagine a small tub filled with warm to hot water and jojoba oil.  Slippery,  yes but only if you walk and right now all you should be doing is sitting with your feet in the water and enjoying the moment.

Black Skin Care Tip – A Treat for Your Feet.  Here’s a great recipe:

Another way to enjoy a foot bath is is  add 1/4 teaspoon of jojoba oil to 1 cup of sea salt.  If you’re challenged with hypertension, you’ll want to use vinegar in your water. With your skin being the largest organ of your body, it will take in the salt as though you ingested it through your mouth.  Not good!

And then there’s the shea butter scrub.  It’s shea butter, jojoba oil, sea salt and turbinado sugar all rolled into one luxurious product that’s great for your feet.  You can give yourself this treatment while in your bath tub.  Once seated in your water, massage your feet with this beautiful mixture and prop them up on the side of your tub.  Massage them one at a time removing all of the dead skin cells.  If you’re lucky, your significant other will massage your feet for you, really making this an enjoyable moment.

Your feet carry all of your weight and when they hurt your whole body hurts, so take care of them by giving them a good soak, at least every other night.
