Not all of you wear makeup but for those of you who’d like to add a hint of color to your already beautiful black skin, here’s what’s being served up in makeup trends for Spring/Summer.
While a fresh healthy complexion is the result of a good black skin care regimen, more beauty companies are developing products that look like your skin and less like makeup.
This means that blush and bronzers that are being offered are encouraging color in cosmetics that will give your skin a healthy glow.
Colors for your eyes are crossing the color spectrum, from intense to romantic shades, metallic accents and a combination of the two.
Showing of your Beautiful Black Skin With Colorful Makeup
Spring always brings in this feeling of newness, freshness and shaking off the winter blahs. No longer being covered up in winter coats, gloves and scarves, you’ll want to show off your beautiful skin.
One of the ways that it’s done, slowly but surely, is thru your makeup. Makeup is an easy and relatively inexpensive way for you to liven up your cosmetic wardrobe and show a new face to world that you meet and greet on a daily basis.
Although many of the new colors for spring may seem out of reach for the everyday woman, their influence is being seen more and more on a daily basis.
I say this because when you’re shown colors and makeup from the runway, it’s done in a completely different way than you would wear it in your everyday life.
The runway has what appears to be a theatrical type of look. This is definitely not for the day-to-day work environment. You might try it for a dinner party or a night out but you still don’t want to have it as intense as you would see it on the runway.
Black Skin Care, Makeup, Color Palettes and The Perfect Coverage
• Tangerines, neon’s and bright colors are really being used for the spring color concept this year.
• New softer colors, pale pinks, soft peach as well as, bronze and copper would be considered neutral or natural tones.
• Teal, turquoise and deep purple are good for eye shadows, nail polish and lipsticks.
Your complexion will always have you paying homage to your skin. Your beautiful shades of chocolates will always have you looking for what’s known as the “perfect coverage”. This “perfect coverage” is being able to find a makeup that doesn’t have you looking … made up.
With your skin, don’t ever try to “make it work”. If the makeup is too light in color, it’s too light in color. If it’s too dark in color, it’s too dark.
In looking for the perfect coverage, you want it to be natural and just enough of a fill so that it gives your face a sheer radiant glow, naturally.
