The 21st century has launched a whole new stratosphere of high-tech skin care and treatments in the beauty industry.  Guess what?  They’re all promising to rejuvenate, banish wrinkles, remove dark spots and give you younger-looking skin.  Some of it works and some of it doesn’t.  But what will give your well-being and beautiful black skin the edge, is using a holistic/mind and body approach to stay at your most healthy and relaxed state.  Keep it simple and down to the basics and you will never go wrong with caring for your beautiful black skin.

There is no wonder cream that will cure you of being tired, stressed out or obese, but by incorporating a few of these tips into your daily life cycle, it could make a tremendous difference in how you look and feel.

So …

  • By concentrating on what you eat and what a good health routine can do in terms of your physical appearance for both your skin and body, you’ll see a much more youthful glowing skin and you’ll feel and move like you’re ten years younger.
  • Relaxation is fundamental to how you look.  Beautiful clear and healthy black skin is a reflection of how you feel inside.  Getting good-quality sleep and regular moments of tranquility in your life will allow you to radiate from the inside and glow on the outside.
  • Exercise is so important to incorporate into your life, not only for longevity and health, but for a vitality that will show in your eyes, your face and your body.  There is no better way to raise self-esteem and throw out the clouds of anxiety than to exercise. Working hard to find a regimen that works for you … salsa, Pilate’s, walking, swimming … you’ll watch the pounds disappear, see changes in the shape of your body and watch the years fall off your beautiful face.
  • However you choose to take care of your skin, the most important thing you can do is to wear a sunscreen with the appropriate SPF (sun protection factor) for your skin type.  Skin that has been overexposed to the sun not only runs the risk of severe damage but it will look older than it actually is.  Not properly taken care of, Your Black Will Crack!

You’ve probably heard all of this before, especially from me but repetition is the mother of learning.  So take a step towards finding a way for you to relax without being disturbed.  Exercise but only using a system that won’t bore you so much that you don’t do anything.  Be mindful of what you eat and drink, your body will thank you for it.  And finally, protect your skin whenever you’re in the sun for any long period of time, a sunscreen and a hat will work wonders for your skin.
