For most of you nature is giving you signs of her beauty.  The cherry blossoms are blooming, the daffodils are peeping through their bright green stems and the pollen is rising into the air because of all the new growth.

The same thing is emerging in the fashion and beauty world.  You’ve seen the gradual introduction of bright colors since right after Christmas and sandals have been in some stores since January and I’m not talking Florida Stores.

So now that there’s a hint of Spring in the air, for most, are you ready to rock the new colors?

Balancing Your Beauty Act With Color

You could say that your desire for self expression, balance and the need to re-energize your wardrobe and beauty world could bring you to a whole new level of style and beauty.

Finding balance in your beauty world could mean a balance between light and dark or classic and new.

Color allows for individuality, self-expression and excitement.  Not only does nature have an assortment of green in its palette for Spring but so does the fashion world.

Here’s what Pantone, the color authority is serving up for Spring in its color palette.

In nature we see the first signs of Spring with tiny buds and shoots of grass.

This concept has moved forward into the color palette, hence the name Tender Shoots, which is a vibrant yellow-green color.  It’s invigorating and cheerful.

Grayed Jade is a subtle, hushed green with gray undertones.  It sometimes takes on what used to be known as sage green.

Emerald green, often referred to as sophisticated, is a lively, radiant green that inspires insight and clarity while also encouraging a sense of well-being.

African Violet brings intrigue into your closet.  As a member of the purple family you get a sense of royalty when incorporated into your wardrobe.

Poppy Red a seductive, sensual shade will add a pop of color to your world.  Whether it’s a knockout dress or a smooch on your lips, true red should be included in your wardrobe and beauty world.

Nectarine a bright citrus orange with coral undertones will definitely provide a burst of flavor to your beauty world.

Lemon Zest provides just enough color to give your beauty world a refreshing pop of uniqueness.

Linen as in a soft beige color is light and airy.  In addition to white and black it makes the perfect neutral.

What would a Spring palette be without a hint of blue.  It’s known as Dusk Blue this year, calming and can become your new neutral

Then there’s Monaco Blue the new classic that will add stability and depth to your entire spring palette.

Using Color to Define Your Uniqueness

Yes these are the new colors for Spring in apparel, home decor and cosmetics.  Get ready to spruce up your wardrobe, makeup or home decor with a new signature color or combination there of.

That signature color could very well be found in a jacket, pant, trench coat, a new nail polish, lipstick or eye shadow.

Make it you and define your uniqueness.
