Yes it’s a New Year again and you’re probably working on a New You, at least some of you are.

But what does that really mean?  For some it’s a new wardrobe, for others you’ve decided to loose 10 pounds, cut your hair/grow your hair or start working on evening out your skin tone.

What ever it is you’ve decided to commit to a new beginning for your self.  A new wardrobe might mean shopping in your closet and pulling out things that have been pushed back and when you try them on, You Look Marvelous!  You’ve shopped but didn’t have to spend any extra money.

Looking to loose weight, set goals that you can stick too.  Five pounds a month, slow and steady but the pace will enable you to work at a pace that’s right for you.  Don’t forget to watch what you eat.  I’m not sure of the diets that promise you chocolate and no exercise.  Personally, I’d start blowing up like a baloon.  But if any of you have tried this and it works, let me know how you managed to loose weight, not exercise and eat chocolate.

A new hair style is always a welcomed addition to a New Years Resolution.  Whether you’ve cut it in a short bob,  you’re sporting a TWA (teeny-weeny-afro) or you let it grow down your back, it’s giving you a new look and feel.

Want to take care of dark spots and uneven skin tone, start with a facial given by a professional that understands how to remove dead skin cells allowing your beautiful black skin to shine.  A series of facials that allow for treating the dark spots and evening out your skin tone will do wonders for your skin.

We all make promises to ourselves every year at the beginning of the New Year.  That’s great but this time why not create a strategic plan that will allow you to accomplish exactly what you want.
