Natural Hair Shows, Is the Best Yet to Come?
A natural hair show is the best place you can be, when you want to see a lot of natural heads of hair. Locs, two strand twist, braids and heads of gorgeous natural hair doing its own thing.
I once read a statement about transitioning into wearing your hair natural. It said: “Going natural is a 2 step process. Step #1- Going Natural. Step #2 – Staying Natural”.
When you make the decision to remove chemicals, you’re committing to an entirely different way of being. You’ve decided that you no longer want to bring trauma to your scalp and cellular structure. You no longer want to continue to damage your hair follicles, either.
If this is true for you, choose your natural hair care products wisely. You’ll want your ingredients to be such that they nourish, nurture and replenish your hair and scalp.
Making the decision to go natural actually brings trauma and stress to a lot of you. Therefore, you begin to seek out environments in which you can gather information. The internet is one of those places you begin to learn about your natural hair journey.
However, there is nothing like a live, walk the floor, say hello to old friends, trade show.
We are currently in the midst of a global pandemic. That being said, you’re not going anywhere anytime soon. Hopefully, trade shows of all kind will return just as lively as ever. We’ll all be able to walk the floors and gather samples of new and old products.
Natural hair trade shows offer you a wonderful opportunity to meet representatives from companies that you’ve read about. You can test products, view demonstrations and get new ideas for hair styles for yourself.
Trade shows give the vendors an opportunity to hear first hand what your challenges might be. If you’re an entrepreneur with a natural hair care business, it will enable you to see the need for new products.
If you’re thinking of starting a business selling hair care products, it’s a good place for you to gather information as well.
The feedback you get at a trade show is priceless.
If you’re looking forward to the return of natural hair trades shows, be on the lookout for Hair She Grows in Central Florida, Natural Hair Expo, Toronto Natural Hair Show and World Natural Hair Healthy Lifestyle Events. This is just a small listing.
Check your local event calendars for next year and see what’s returning as we move through the pandemic.
That’s it for this week. As always …
