CBD for stress and anxiety? Yes CBD has gone mainstream. And it’s being used for more challenges than one might think. It’s all the rage in the wellness space and could possibly be the answer to some of your stress and anxiety challenges.

The world is confronted with a very high level of stress and anxiety with the Coronavirus Pandemic. If you’re like most people, the mere fact of turning on your television, computer or smart device, can be stressful and certainly make you anxious.

When stress sets in, it can bring on soreness in shoulders and joints causing inflammation. It can also cause insomnia and challenging skin problems.

So How Can CBD help?

Sore Muscles – Everything about CBD is new when it comes to its effectiveness and how to use it. There are people who swear by it. One such area is with sore muscles.

With the use of creams and oil rubs, CBD has been said to relieve sore – tired muscles. It’s also said to have an analgesic effect, which is known to decrease pain. In the alternative space it has been used for post-workout muscle recovery.

Trouble Sleeping? – 80% of Americans have said they have trouble sleeping. It’s been shown in some research that CBD may interact with receptors in your brain that control sleep as well as your wake cycles.

In a Consumer Report survey, people who used CBD to help them sleep, said it worked.

Problem With Your Skin – Taken orally or used topically, CBD has been shown to help with blemishes and other skin challenges. It appears that CBD has anti-inflammatory properties and thought to help regulate how your body produces oil.

It’s also known to have anti-fungal and anti-bacterial effects that just might reduce infections from pollutants a well.

Anxiety – For some of you meditation, deep breathing and yoga will be enough to work through moments of anxiety. For others, CBD works better. It’s known to work with your central nervous system.

Your central nervous system controls most of your body and mind and has two parts – your brain and spinal cord.

How Can CBD Be Used As Part of Your Wellness Regimen?

Edibles – Most of you have probably heard of laced brownies. That’s what they used to be called until CBD was legalized. Although still called brownies, they are no longer referred to as laced. They now fall under the category of edibles.

Not only are brownies included in this category, smoothies, gummies, coffee and even french toast are just a few foods that have CBD added.

Tinctures and Oils – Typically placed under your tongue, tinctures are taken to aid in calming, relaxation and sleep. Tinctures may contain alcohol, , vinegar or artificial flavorings.

CBD oils are usually made with coconut or hemp seed oils.

Bath and Body – Infused lotions, creams, bath bombs and lately cosmetics have come to market with CBD as one of the ingredients. There are more and more lotions infused with CBD and intended to ease sore muscles and inflammation that’s been induced by exercise.

Looking for a way to make life a bit more tolerable?

Adding CBD to your arsenal of wellness products will have you feeling a bit more secure with your health. There’s much to be learned about this “New” product. Take your time and do your research.

I’ve somewhat outlined the categories. Now it’s your turn to do the work and see what works best for you and your body.
