Flawless Beautiful black skin is the result of having good habits. It’s not difficult to understand, the trial and error comes in the doing.
Like any good habit, you have to be consistent in the process. Did you know that your skin receives its nourishment through your blood?
This means that your skin is alive!
1. Have a good skin care regimen – Your skin is constantly removing waste via sweating or shedding dead skin cells. One way to make sure your skin is getting the best of care is to have a skin care regimen. Cleanse, tone, moisturize, exfoliate and mask. Let’s not forget adding a serum to the regimen for special needs such as crows feet or enhanced moisturizers.
2. You are what you eat – What you eat has a direct reflection on the beauty of your skin. So it’s safe to say that if you eat lots of green foods, fruits, grains and take your supplements, your skin will give you a glorious reflection from your mirror.
3. Drink Lots of Water – Often times when you experience dull, dry, ashy looking skin, it’s just a reminder that you haven’t drank enough water. Not only will your skin take on these appearances, your body will have a hard time stretching, breathing, sweating, pooping, even yawing with lack of sufficient amount of water.
Water acts as an elixir to the health and wellness of your body. Without it, you cease to exist.
4. Detox – From the inside and outside, you will want to give yourself a thorough cleaning. Impurities that back up in your body will find ways to exit. If you don’t cleanse your bladder, lungs, liver, colon or kidneys, your skin will become a mess. Some people have been known to have breakouts that can become health challenges, all because you weren’t cleansing your system out.
5. Exercise – Regular exercise or motion … swimming, dancing, hula hooping, volleyball .. these are all excellent when scheduled into a weekly regimen.
You can also do exercises that are known to be standing meditations, such as tai chi or chi gong. While you’re at it, make sure the sun is shinning and you’re outside taking in the scenes. The sunlight will nourish your skin, when taken in moderation.
6. Get yourself some restful sleep. – Do you get a good nights sleep? Most of you will probably answer no. You sacrifice sleep in order to meet deadlines for work, me included. If you’re like me, you reach for a cup of coffee that has a tendency to make things worse.
When I find myself in this kind of overwhelm, my body literally shuts down. Nothing I try to complete gets done. Why? Because I’m falling asleep at the computer.
Don’t let others define your beauty for you. Develop these habits and you’re sure to find yourself with flawless beautiful black skin.
That’s it for this week. As always …
