IMG_0419It’s that time of the year when you’ve got a party or dress up affair to attend every week. Why not do it in style ?

After a long day of work, your outfit should be the least of your concerns when it’s time to go out to relax with friends and enjoy yourself. Most of the time, going out includes spending hours, and sometimes days, picking an outfit that’s appropriate and flattering. Switching up your wardrobe from professional office attire to an evening look doesn’t have to be a hassle.

Instead of bringing along more than one outfit or having to go home and change, you can opt for a nice dress instead. The right dress can have subtle appeal or be glammed up to achieve an enviable night-time look.

One of the easiest ways to do this is to wear a dress with a blazer or sweater. You can also wear a shirt over the dress if preferred. Keep the shoes modest. If the dress is short, it’s usually a good idea to wear solid pantyhose, tights, or leggings around the office. This way, all you’ll need to have handy is a dressy pair of shoes and accessories, such as a clutch bag, jewelry, a necklace, or pretty earrings.

Now, comes the most fun tip of all. Make sure the dress you are wearing has a low back or is backless. These types of dresses are sophisticated and edgy. They add a bold touch, but are careful not to be too revealing or showy. Still, they are trendy enough to show off your lovely curves and personal style in a variety of patterns and colors.

Don’t let “Bacne” (back acne) ruin your look!

What can ruin the appeal of a backless dress is back acne. This is a common issue that is dealt with by men and women of all backgrounds and is aptly titled “bacne.” Back acne is not only unsightly, it can also be painful and result in long- term scarring. One of the main reasons women choose to keep their backs covered is because this type of acne is often embarrassing and leaves them self-conscious.

The cause of bacne is hard to determine. It doesn’t restrict itself to a certain age group and it happens for many reasons. It can come from hormonal imbalances, genetics, dry skin, or sensitivities to clothing materials and detergents. Much like the face, our backs can be sensitive to many outlying factors and internal issues, but the back poses additional challenges.

Our backs aren’t easy to reach on our own and because it isn’t visible to us all of the time, many people tend to overlook and neglect the area. It’s more difficult to find the cause of irritation and figure out what works to heal it in such an unreachable area. With so many treatments aimed towards the face and other skin issues, solutions for bacne is not discussed or addressed as often, leaving many to feel confused and with limited options.

Still, there are ways to treat and eliminate back acne. One effective method is back facials. Facials don’t have to be limited to the face. The skin nourishment and renewal that comes from them is well-deserved and your skin will appreciate the benefits it provides. The process of a back facial feels more like a treat than a treatment procedure. It’s relaxing and soothing as it leaves you with a noticeable difference by providing your back with the attention it’s been missing. Balance is important to prevent and calm skin irritation and this is what the methods used in back facials are for.

Another option that works doesn’t involve professional services. You can treat your back at home using a body butter scrub to do your own back facial. This deep cleansing and moisturizing process can be easily done with the right body brush. Scrubs work wonders because they are gentle exfoliators that provide hydration. Exfoliating is a necessary step to treating acne because it sloughs away the dead skin cells that accumulate daily on our bodies. Leaving dead skin can clog pores and clogged pores lead to breakouts. The exfoliation will further help to tone your back by fading the dark marks left behind by acne.

Dryness can be a common cause of back breakouts, as well. Dry skin not only causes breakouts. It leads to inflammation and itchiness. The moisture provided by the butter combines with the skins natural oil to remedy dryness and keeps the skin from producing excess oil that blocks the pores.

Glowing and healthy skin is the perfect accessory for any outfit. It is especially attractive when showing off your back. As a trendsetter, you want to stand out and feel confident without looking like you’re putting in too much effort, which is why a dress with a low back is a fashion favorite. It’s even better option when you’re in a rush to meet up with others at a certain time.

Backless dresses never go out of style and can be seen everywhere from Happy Hour to the red carpet. They are also perfect choices no matter your size because many of them are designed to be flattering no matter what your body type is. For a fun twist on traditional look, a low back dress is all you need.

That’s it for this week, enjoy the party!
