With all of your beautiful complexions, soft, smooth and radiant skin, why are you so challenged with uneven skin tones, dark spots and puffiness under your eyes? I don’t know about you but every time I talk with someone they’re talking about how challenged they are with their skin.
I’ve been on the planet a few years and I’ve never heard this much talk about dark spots, puffy eyes and uneven skin tones. If I were spooked, I’d think someone was out to get us.
But let’s take a look at what causes us to have challenges with these three skin conditions?
For dark spots and uneven skin tones, hyperpigmentation is the buzzword of the day. Hyperpigmentation is defined as the darkening of an area of skin caused by an overproduction of pigment. This pigment is known as melanin.
Uneven Skin Tones – Melanin! Melanin naturally causes uneven skin tone. As you manipulate your skin with cleansers and scrubs, if the right products are not used, you will cause dryness, scrapes and scars to occur resulting in uneven skin tones. Over exposure to the sun without proper sunscreen also causes you to have uneven skin tones.
Medication, maturity and the wrong products and ingredients definitely play a role in uneven skin tones.
Dark Spots – Where do I begin? Dark spots are caused by trauma to your skin especially from acne. Unsightly pimples that are full of pus are magnets for your fingers but after you release the pus you now have the breading ground for a dark spot to appear.
But they also appear when you use tweezers to pull out chin hairs. You break the hair, and then go back in for a second dig into your skin and what happens? You end up with dark spots and traumatized skin that you need to bring some kind of healing to.
Puffiness Under Your Eyes – As if dark spots and uneven skin tone were not enough, here comes the puffiness under the eyes. What in the heck causes puffiness under the eyes, you’ve asked? Heredity plays a big role in everything about us and puffiness doesn’t escape it.
But, there are also other factors that contribute to puffiness under your eyes. When you take a look at the map of your face, each point is associated with an organ in your body. Puffiness under your eyes is tied into your kidneys in particular and your colon. So dehydration and elimination of waste from your body play a role in the cause of puffiness.
Your kidneys, your liver and your colon play a major role in removing waist from your body, therefore these organs must have lots of water and proper foods move through them in order to eliminate toxins from your body. The cleaner your system the less inflammation you’ll have and the better you’ll look and feel.
