Many women of color already know the secret to healthy, thick, natural black hair care. It’s called Henna.
In Eastern parts of the world, henna is often referred to as the “Magic Plant”. It is not only used in hair care but is commonly prescribed for burns and pain relief.
Here are 4 different types of henna:
Black Henna is typically henna that manufacturers have added black dye to in order to create a darker tattoo or hair color.
The chemical used in creating black henna can be very damaging to your skin. It can cause blisters, sores and scarring. This applies to your scalp as well as the rest of your skin.
Natural Henna is the most commonly used henna for temporary body art. It is also used for hair conditioning and dyeing. It will leave your hair full of strength, give it more volume and add a beautiful and healthy shine.
Red Henna is often used to dye hair. It is a natural alternative to regular hair dye. It’s important to note that not everyone’s hair turns out the same when using natural henna because not everyone’s hair is the same.
Herbal Henna is known for its medicinal properties. It’s great for promoting hair growth, curing scalp disorders and giving your hair a natural strength and life.
